The Department of Finance held a coordination meeting with one of its strategic partners, “Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate”, to exchange visions and strategic directions in light of the Department of Finance’s review of its new strategic plan for the period 2022-2026, and to discuss aspects of cooperation and possible partnership that contribute to achieving the common goals of both sides, especially in the process of expanding the relationship. He welcomed the active participation of the community institutions that responded to the invitation, pointing at the same time to the adoption of the Finance Department within its general directions the importance of involving all the beneficiary parties in supporting decision-making based on drawing the new strategic map of the Department of Finance for the period 2022-2026 As it crystallizes the main features of the roadmap of the Department of Finance in order to refine its pivotal strategic role during the next five years in light of the adherence to the directions of our wise leadership in order to enhance sustainable development opportunities in the Emirate by ensuring its competitiveness in managing public money and efficient application of the most important financial legislation and policies in the light of full harmonization To ensure that the various expectations of the categories of beneficiaries are optimally met.

The Department of Finance receives the former president of the Association of Internal Auditors in the United States of America and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Auditors in the United Arab Emirates
In order to enhance its partnership relations with many professional associations, the Department of Finance of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah received at its headquarters a delegation from the Association of Internal Auditors in the United Arab Emirates and the Association of Internal Auditors in the United States of America.
The delegation was received by HE Yousef Ali Mohammed, Director General of the Department of Finance of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, Mr. Omar Afif Al-Rishani, Assistant Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Qais Al-Zoubi, Director of the Tax and Information Exchange Department.
The visiting delegation included His Excellency / Abdul Qadir Obaid Ali, President of the Association of Internal Auditors in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Richard, the former president of the Association of Internal Auditors in the United States of America, and Mr. Ali Al Mujai, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Internal Auditors in the country, where Mr. Richard presented a copy of His new book entitled “THE SPEED OF RISK” to His Excellency / Yousef Ali Mohamed, Director General of the Department of Finance, where the book deals with a number of different topics regarding internal audit profession, most notably “obstacles that lead to innovation” and other important topics in the internal audit profession.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency the Director General of the Department expressed to the visiting delegation his thanks and happiness for this fruitful visit, which will contribute to opening new horizons to raise the level of the Department in the financial, accounting and control fields.
