This award is mandatory and refers to each distinct organizational unit in the organizational structure of the entity. The criteria for this category are adopted in an internal competition between departments. Outstanding Committee Award & Teamwork
This award is optional and refers to each committee or team in the entity, each of them has the ability to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of participation in the management of committees / working team, which has had a significant impact on adding value at the department level, since it contributed in reinforcing the entity’s competition significantly from its real outputs and results that can be relied on. The criteria of this category will be adopted in an internal competition, whether between the committees and task forces that are formed, where one committee / team will be selected among all competing applicants for the award. Components and standards of this category depend on an electronic form based on the desire of the beneficiary party to participate provided that it meets the evaluation criteria for the distinguished committee / team.
General Manager's Medal Award for Individuals
This award is optional and refers to the participation of staff members individually (an innovative employee, a distinguished supervisor, a distinguished accountant, a distinguished financial controller, a distinguished executive officer, a distinguished executive officer, etc.), which contributes in creating a competitive environment at the individual level ensuring the motivation and encouragement to all employees at their different levels of employment in participating in the activities of excellence, creativity and self-development that affects the development of the institutional performance for the entity.
Outstanding Woman Award
This award is optional and refers to the participation of working women within the Department of Finance. The award was made in light of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak’s interest in empowering working women as well as the UAE government’s keenness shown by turning off half the exterior lights in Burg Khalifa to reflect the extent of waste in human potentials that women can add, the department has allocated a prize to support its policy to strengthen the capacity of the working women it has adopted in its strategic plan
Outstanding Partnership Award in Financial Performance
This award is mandatory for government entities whose financial systems are regulated and managed by the Department of Finance in order to participate and assess their financial and accounting performance in a way that enhances the strategic objectives of the Department of Finance and the established policies and procedures at the emirate level to promote positive competition between government agencies to develop their financial performance in response to the aspirations of our wise leadership ” This category of the award will contribute to a leap in the financial performance of the emirate as one of the tools that will depend on it to measure compliance with the standards and requirements of excellence in all aspects of public money management at the level of The government sector.
